I spotted this on the way back from sending my daughter off on her Senior Prom. I'd probably wax a little more about it but honestly I did that last year, when it was her "first" Prom. This one seems a bit perfunctory at this point. She looked gorgeous but we were running a bit late and we fought a bit, both of our faults as we're rather tempestuous women. In different ways but man, we can set each other off. But it's ok, because within five minutes we're back ok again.
All I had with me was my unwieldy 70-200 2.8 glass that I roll out for portrait-style stuff (so barely ever) but it actually worked out well here. This was on the side of the road, I saw it and asked my husband to turn around and pull off. He's always so game for any of my photography and kindly obliged. The sheep and goats were actually coming towards me the whole time I was shooting. I was talking and cooing to them though, likely they thought I had food :) They were so clean and beautiful, I was actually pretty surprised. Look at those coats! They have got to be near shearing time.
Anyway I'm woolgathering so much I really should have posted this over there :P Just wanted to share this pretty little bucolic scene :)
