A Dartmoor Sunset - catalog surfing
I found this yesterday whilst doing other work in my catalog in Lightroom for another project and it was untouched and not processed to a finish. I was surprised because it is one of my favorite photos -- I know there is nothing particularly remarkable about it, it's prosaic and still. I think that is probably why I like it. It's just so English. The countryside in that land never fails to lull one's senses with quiet and beauty and charm. There is countryside everywhere in the world, and it is lovely in all places, but there is something special about English countryside to me, and I'll ever feel it is where I really belong.
