The Queen's View
One of the most famous views in the Highlands, Queen Victoria visited here in 1866. It is popularly believed that it was named after her, but in fact it was named much earlier after Robert the Bruce's wife Isabella who would take rest here on her travels.
This was extremely early in the morning, we stopped here first before a long day of adventuring. It was tranquil and empty of anyone - you can go see this sight anytime. There is a small tea room here and large car park for visitors but at just before 8am on a weekday in May, we had it to ourselves.
