Inside Llewyn Davis - ut oh, I'm a film hipster now?
Just finished watching this - wow, I think I'm becoming a film hipster, because I really liked this a lot. I don't think I would have even bothered watching it 20 years ago. But it was beautiful and so sad and the sadness made it beautiful - and of course I just rooted for Llewyn the whole time and I knew that it was fruitless (it's obvious) and I think the experience of rooting for him fruitlessly is probably the genius of the film in it's entire.
I don't know, though.. about the hipster thing, because I'm pretty sure that Room is completely overhyped in every possible way. Maybe because everyone just *loves* that movie and I think it's trash is because I'm a film hipster now.
I really need a trashy Michael Bay movie right now. Or something - to remind me that I love crap entertainment, too.
Shake it off, Jennifer!
