Testing linking from Flickr...
Of course in about 4 days this is mostly moot - as I'll be working on my jensnap.com on a squarespace platform. Or Wordpress, I'm not quite sure yet which I want to use... but I'm using Squarespace for this blog and for a *very* large project that I'm working on presently and I do like it a lot. I am glad I am comfortable using both. Unfortunately it seems like Wordpress gets indexed better & faster than Squarespace. I'll have to create loads of content that's searchable here to compare to my Wordpress site but I've set up the Google Webmaster Tools and they are simply fantastic.
In any event, this is a link from my Flickr using an Embed block here. I liked how easy it was to do to create a snippet. I'm in "safe" mode right now on the backend so we'll see how it looks once published.
The Lloyd's Building in London is in the shot here - I took it while on one of those London Walks tours and I remember coming up on it. Simply fantastic bit of architecture, I love it entirely. The Tour guide Janine was tickled that I liked it - she said it's quite polarizing and not a lot of people embrace it. But to me, it just looks like Blade Runner. Cyberpunk future. I simply adore it.
By the way, those London Walks were some of the best tourism I ever did in London. For 9 pounds sterling it's a steal for two hours of delight. You really do get to see more than you ever thought was in London. I've done about four Walks and I have loved every one of them.

Okay this is about three steps further than Flickr - with the same result.
